    The University of Alicante Food and Nutrition Centre (ALINUA) and the Office of the Vice President for Social Responsibility, Inclusion and Gender Equality aim to provide accurate information on healthy eating during the COVID-19 crisis, as healthy eating habits help your immune system work properly. For this reason, they have issued information leaflets with tips for the lockdown period, targeted at the population at large and those in at-risk groups (as defined by the Spanish Ministry of Health).

    Yesterday was a historic day for our institution thanks to the UA women's teams and their performance at the Regional University Sports Championships (CADU) finals. At Valencia's CEU Cardenal Herrera University, where the event was held, they scooped four golds and one silver.

    University of Alicante renews partnership with Fundación Lucentum

    University of Alicante President Manuel Palomar and Fundación Lucentum Baloncesto Alicante President Antonio Gallego have renewed their partnership agreement this morning, whereby members of the women's first team and the men's second team of the foundation may be transferred to UA teams for university competitions. Under the agreement, a partnership is also established for undertaking joint educational, cultural and sports activities.

    Trinidad Alfonso Foundation and all seven Valencia Region's universities renew Uniesport 2020 project

    One more year, the seven universities in the Valencia Region and the Trinidad Alfonso Foundation have renewed their commitment to promoting university sports through the Uniesportinitiative. The partnership agreements have been signed at the premises of the Trinidad Alfonso Foundation this afternoon.

    Under this agreement, the eight institutions will contribute to the development of university sport across the board; work together to raise awareness in society and among sportspeople of the importance of finding a balance between sports and studies; and promote the values linked to the culture of hard work and the projects supported by the Foundation.
